Dorothy J. Mackell, 96, of Grove City, passed away peacefully while surrounded by her family on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, in Orchard Manor, Grove City.

Mrs. Mackell was born September 15, 1927, in Wesley, PA, a daughter of the late Darrell and Genevieve (Hoffman) Atwell.

On December 20, 1948, she married her husband, Richard A. Mackell, whom passed away March 17, 2014.

Dorothy is survived by a daughter, Marjorie Thibodeau (Arthur), Fredonia; a son, Larry Mackell (Darleen), Sarasota, FL; a brother, Walter Atwell (Donna), Grove City; six grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Dorothy is preceded in death by two sisters, Shirley Royle, and Nancy Bowie; and two brothers, Neil and Richard Atwell.

In keeping with Dorothy's wishes there will be no services.
