William Howard Wachter, 68, of Kersey, PA, formerly of Farrell, passed away Friday, February 26, 2021, in his home.

Bill was born April 17, 1952, in Sharon, a son of William J. and Rose (Meredith) Wachter. He was a graduate of Farrell High School and earned an Associate's degree in accounting from Youngstown (OH) State University.

He was employed at Sharon Steel's former Farrell plant for 18 years prior to working maintenance at Walmart in St. Mary's, PA.

Bill was of the Methodist Faith.

He loved living in the country, hunting and collecting guns.

He is survived by his mother, Rose Gill-Stevenson, of West Middlesex; and a sister, Meredith Friedman and her husband Leonard, of Northville, Mich.

Bill was preceded in death by his father and two step-fathers, William J. Gill and Robert Van Ness Stevenson.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Interment: America's Cemetery, Hermitage.
