William E. "Bill" Rodgers, Sharon, PA, passed away Thursday (7/23/2015) in his home following a brief illness. He was 63. Bill was born January 13, 1952 in Queenstown, PA, to Arthur and Margaret Hickey Rodgers. He attended Karns City High School, Karns City, PA, and worked a number of jobs before retiring from Charlie's Specialties, Hermitage, in 2011, after 25 years of service. Bill enjoyed puzzles, and was a talented woodworker. He also enjoyed working and being outdoors, and rooting for the Cleveland Browns. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Sandra "Sandy" Beabout, whom he married July 1, 1972. He is also survived by one brother, Ron Rodgers; two sisters in law, Janet Perrine and her husband James, and Nancy Wilson and her husband Kenneth; a brother in law, Russell "Skip" Beabout and his wife Janet; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews; and his dog Bo, who was his best friend and loving companion. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Arthur Rodgers; three sisters, Jean Early, Eileen McClaine and Betty Kolich; a brother in law, Richard Beabout; two nieces; and former pet companions Hicky, Oscar, and Cookie.
