February 2, 1958 – September 11, 2016
William "Bill" Ducklin, of Hermitage, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 11, 2016, at his residence. He was 58.
Mr. Ducklin was born February 2, 1958, in Carshalton, England, a son of William J. and Margaretta (Kirby) Ducklin.
Bill was raised and educated in Sutton, England and received his bachelor's degree from Kingston College. He moved to the United States in November of 1994, and worked for Laird Technologies, Warren, OH, the former Cattron Group International, Sharpsville, as an electrical engineer.
He was a member of the Church of England and recently began attending the Church of Notre Dame, Hermitage. Bill was a scout leader in England, and enjoyed hiking, camping, mountain climbing, cartography, traveling, fencing, rugby, and skiing in France, Austria and Switzerland.
Bill is survived by: his wife, the former Michelle Hogue, whom he married on October 27, 2001; his father, of England; a step daughter, Susan (Ben) Wojcik and her husband Brian, Mt. Lebanon, PA; a brother-in-law, R. Daniel Hogue, Charlotte, NC; his dogs, Bella and Nous and cats, Percy and Lucy.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions be made to Hillcrest Dog Park and Wellness Center, 2619 East State St. Hermitage, PA 16148.

Service: Funeral Mass at 11:30 am Monday (9-19-16) in the Church of Notre Dame, 2325 Highland Rd, Hermitage, with the Rev. Jeffrey Noble, pastor, as celebrant.
