William A. "Bill" Clary, 82, of Hermitage, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, in his home.

Mr. Clary was born on March 11, 1942, in Sharon, a son of the late James and Veronica (DiNardo) Clary. A lifelong area resident, he was a 1960 graduate of Sharon High School. He matriculated to Youngstown State University earning degrees in business and later education. Bill ultimately received his master's degree in guidance and counseling from Slipper Rock University of PA.

He was employed for 32 years as an art and theatre teacher at Sharon School District. Bill was the theatre director for 22 years, overseeing numerous plays.

Bill was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church, Sharon.

He was an accomplished artist with amazing painting abilities. Throughout the years, he sold countless pieces of work. He also deeply enjoyed cutting his lawn and has been known to keep riding his mower and taking care of his neighbor's yards.

Bill always maintained his love for plays and musicals, but above all he looked forward to attending his grandchildren's plays, concerts and sporting events.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, the former Carol Pancioni, whom he married on August 19, 1967; two sons, Scott A. Clary (Frances), Hermitage, and Todd A. Clary (Renee), Clark, PA; three grandsons, Domenic, Tyler and Cole; and one great-grandson, Jaxson.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by a brother, Jay Clary.
