William H. "Bill" Booher, Jr., 73, of Hermitage, formerly a longtime resident of Polk State Center, passed away Thursday morning, January 9, 2025, under hospice care at his home.
Bill was born December 18, 1951, in Ellwood City, PA, a son of the late William H. Booher, Sr. and Phyllis (Cassedy) Booher.
Bill enjoyed attending drag races, collecting matchbox cars, and playing Crazy 8's with his family, especially his nephew, Ron. He also loved music, particularly the Beatles and Elvis.
Bill is survived by a brother-in-law, Bob Vadala, Sharon; a niece, Gina Vadala, Brentwood, PA; two nephews, Bob Vadala, Jr. (Erica), Poland, OH, and Ron Vadala (Becky), Blairsville, PA; two great-nieces, Aleah and Avery; and a great-nephew, Nico.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his step-father, Jack Chantemerle; and a sister, Cheryl Vadala.
