Obituary
William A. Banch of 1745 Hall Ave. Sharpsville, passed away at 3:15 p.m. Monday, February 27, 2012 in his residence. He was 85.
Mr. Banch was born June 21, 1926 in Brookfield, OH a son of Joseph J. and Elizabeth Margaret Kish Banch.
He was a graduate of Sharpsville High School. Following school he entered into the United States Navy in 1944 and served in Hawaii.
William was employed for over 40 years at the Transformer Division of the Westinghouse Corporation.
Mr. Banch loved spending time in the outdoors and taking walks along the Shenango dam. Earlier in life he enjoyed attending the Daytona 500.
Surviving are: a brother, Francis and his wife Dorothy Banch of Sharpsville. William is also survived by 2 nephews and 2 great nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
There will be no calling hours or funeral service. Cremation will take place in the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 1090 E. State St. Sharon.
