Obituary

William A. Allegar, formerly of Sharpsville and Hermitage, passed away Saturday, October 3, 2020, in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Camden, NJ, following a brief illness.  He was 68.

Mr. Allegar was born June 20, 1952, in Sharon, a son of Walter and Martha (Peters) Allegar.  He was a 1970 graduate of Sharpsville High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

A gifted mechanic, he owned and operated the former Kloos Auto Electric and later, Auto Electric Shop, both in Sharon.

He was truly happy tinkering in the garage.  He was also an avid gardener and enjoyed starting plants from seed.

Surviving are three children, Bill Allegar, of Playa Del Ray, CA, Albert Allegar, of Hermitage, and Jamie Allegar Webber, also of Hermitage; two grandsons, Jackson and Gavin Webber; his former wife, Angela D'Onofrio, of Hermitage; and a sister-in-law, Elaine Allegar, of Brookfield.

Besides his parents, Bill was preceded in death by two brothers, David Allegar and Allan Allegar; and a niece, Jessica Allegar.

The family suggests memorial contributions be directed to Buhl Park, 715 Hazen Rd., Hermitage, PA 16148.
