Wayne R. Ayers, West Middlesex, passed away Tuesday (3-22-16) at 12:30 a.m. in St. Elizabeth's Select Specialty Care, Youngstown, Ohio, from complications of injuries he sustained Wednesday (2-24-16) in a trucking accident in Trumbull County. He was 56.

Wayne was born January 24, 1960 in Warren, OH., the son of Dennis David Ayers and Wilma Florence Johnson.

He attended Niles High School.

He served his country in the U.S. Army where he was stationed at Fort Sill, Oklahoma.

Wayne was a tractor trailer truck driver for Pitt-Ohio on their local routes.

He enjoyed operating and collecting remote control cars, drones, and Ham radios. Wayne appreciated the outdoors, hiking and spending time at camp along the Clarion River.

His wife the former Nancy Elaine Marenchin whom he married on September 14, 2002, survives at home .

Along with his wife, Wayne is survived by two daughters, Vanessa Palmer, West Middlesex; and Sherry Carter and her husband Chris, Hermitage; and two grandsons, John Wesley Adams and Ryan Palmer.

Also surviving are his sister Sandy Tomko and her husband Tom, Howland, OH; and six brothers, Richard Ayers and his wife Shirley, Niles, OH.; Bobby Ayers and his wife Debbie, Niles, OH.; Dennis Ayers of Warren, OH., Jeff Ayers, Warren, OH.; George Ayers and his wife Mandy, Niles, OH.; and John Ayers and his wife Tami, Erie, PA; mother and father in law, John and Julia Marenchin, Hermitage; and sister in law, Donna and Bob Osterride, Clarion.
