Virginia B. Trayer, Edinburg Pa., formerly of Pulaski, Pa., passed away of natural causes at home at 2:00 a.m. on Friday (2-18-11). She was 85.
Virginia was born on September 26, 1925 in West Virginia the daughter of James and Bertha Martin.
A homemaker, she was an accomplished glass blower in her younger years and worked in a Glass factory in West Virginia.
She loved working puzzles, bowling, camping, birding, fishing, and playing bingo at the senior center.
Her husband Dale M. Trayer whom she married on November 13, 1965, passed away on October 6, 1993.
She leaves her daughter, Rita B. Willis and her husband Joseph with whom she made her home, three grandchildren, Gabriella Trayer, Nicole Daniels and her husband Wes, and Haven Willis; she also leaves John Bonivich, who she loved like a son, and a sister, Vee Paris.
In addition to her husband, she also was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Crystal Lee Trayer.
Calling hours are from 1 to 3 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday (2-21-11) in the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. 111 W. Falls St. New Castle, Pa.
A service will be held on Tuesday in the funeral Home chapel at 10:00 a.m.. Burial will be in Sligo Cemetery, Sligo Pa.
