Virginia B. Terchila of Sharon passed away peacefully at 5:35 p.m. Wednesday (7-6-11) in her daughter's residence and with her family at her side. She was 83.
Mrs. Terchila was born May 8, 1928, in Youngstown, a daughter of Iladio 'Larry' and Josephine Tisone Baudile.
Born and raised in Youngstown, she graduated from the former Rayen High School. A homemaker, she worked at Delphi Packard Electric Systems in Warren, Ohio, and retired with 25 years of service. She was a longtime member of the former St. John's Romanian Catholic Church, Hermitage. Virginia was an avid bowler and belonged to several leagues at Sunset Bowling Lanes, Farrell. She also enjoyed golfing and a good game of euchre.
She is survived by: her three daughters, Georgiann Golubic, Sharpsville; Virginia J. 'Cookie' Yevchak and her husband Michael, Sharon; and Colleen T. Ciccone and her husband Joseph, all Sharon; and her son, Max L. Terchila Sr. and his wife Janet, Rio Rancho, N.M.; six grandchildren, Dawn Yuran and her husband Raymond; Christine Golubic and her fiancé William 'Bill' Walker; Max Terchila Jr. and his wife Stephanie; Luke Terchila; Gino Ciccone; and Tia Terchila and her companion Katie; three great-grandchildren, Justin and MacKenzie Yuran; and Aubrey Terchila; five sisters, Jennie Bart, Sharon; Dolly Lattanzi and her husband Pat; and Helen Latronica and Betty Delbene, all Youngstown; and Nancy Ponzio, Girard, Ohio.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Dominic Baudile; and her granddaughter, Elena Golubic. Virginia was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who found her greatest joy when spending time with her family, including her dog Coco; she will be sadly missed by all.
