Victoria L. Kennedy, formerly of Mitchell Rd., Shenango Township, passed away peacefully at 2:06 a.m. Saturday (1-29-11) in Nugent Convalescent Home, Hermitage, where she was a resident for the past five years. She was 64.

Vicky was born September 2, 1946 in Tionesta, PA a daughter of the late Stephen and Jayne Witherell Johnston.

She attended West Forest High School and moved to West Middlesex from Albany, New York in 1997, following the death of her husband, William G. Kennedy.

Vicky was a beautiful person who was always caring for others and giving to anyone in need. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and the kind and compassionate staff at Nugent Convalescent Home.

Surviving are: a sister, Jackie Fair and her husband Ed, West Middlesex; a brother, Troy Johnston and his wife Elaine, Tionesta; three nieces, Stephanie LeComte, West Middlesex; Marissa Fair, Sharpsville, who was Vicky's caregiver and also with whom she lived before moving into Nugent's; and Korry Berlin and her husband Jody, Tionesta; a nephew, Troy Johnston, Jr. and his wife Patty, Tionesta; and several great nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband, Vicky was preceded in death by two nieces, Marie and Tricia Johnston.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

A Memorial service to celebrate Vicky's life will be held in the Tionesta Methodist Church at the convenience of the family.
