Victoria H. Dyll, 88, an eight-year resident of Countryside Convalescent Home, East Lackawannock Township, formerly of Ridge Avenue, Sharpsville, passed away at 4:05 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 11, 2009, in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System.
Born March 10, 1921, in New Castle, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Josephine Kozlowski Budzowski.
She married Eugene A. Dyll on Sept. 21, 1940. He died Feb. 8, 1997.
She was raised in New Castle and moved to the Sharpsville area in the 1950s.
Mrs. Dyll was formerly employed in the housekeeping department of Nugent Convalescent Home, Hermitage. A homemaker, she was a member of St. Adalbert's Church in Farrell.
Victoria loved spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed taking them to Buhl Park and other places of interest. She looked forward each year to planting flowers and tending to them throughout the summer, which was her favorite time of the year.
Surviving are two daughters, Shirley Yatsko and her husband, Paul, of Alachua, Fla., and Delores "Dee" Donatelli and her husband, Robert, of Sharpsville; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren, Paul Yatsko and his wife, Angie, and their son, Charlie, of Gainesville, Fla.; Geralyn Kaminsky and her husband, David, and their children, Rosa, Wendy and Alponso of Frisco, Texas; Robert Donatelli and his wife, Carrie, and their sons, Justin and Jaret, of Sharpsville; Amanda Palko and her husband, Edward, and their daughter Lilyana of Transfer, Pa.; and Jeff Donatelli and his wife, Melissa, of Hermitage; two sisters-in-law, Lillian Fabrey of Sharpsville and Joan Beader and her husband, Edward, of Hermitage; and a brother-in-law, Lawrence Jaworski of Sharon.
Besides her parents and husband, Victoria was preceded in death by two sisters, Amelia Baniel and Helen Jaworski; two brothers, Henry and Fred Budzowski; and two grandchildren, Paul G. and Hope Yatsko

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in St. Adalbert's Church, Farrell, with the Rev. Stanley Swacha, pastor of St. Stanislaus Church, Sharon, as celebrant.
Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Hermitage.
