Victor "Jack" Wesneski of West Middlesex passed away peacefully at 10:20 a.m. Sunday, October 23, 2016, in his residence. He was 68.
Mr. Wesneski was born October 11, 1948, in Shamokin, PA, a son of John and Helen (Jackson) Wesneski.
He attended Greenville Jr. High School and Farrell High School.
Jack served as a hull maintenance technician with the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and was a member of the American Legion, Post 432, Wheatland.
He was employed by Wheatland Tube Co. as a maintenance welder for 32 years and retired in 1999. He was of the Methodist faith.
Jack was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan and enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, hunting with friends in Jamestown and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, the former Cynthia Dovutovich, whom he married November 9, 2012, but shared 20 wonderful years together; a daughter, Kerry Wesneski and her husband Adam Jerigum, Santa Cruz, CA; a step-son, Stephen Dovutovich, Sharpsville; two sisters, Donna Billionni and her husband Richard, Sharon; and Jonelle Robinson and her husband Warren, Farrell; and many nieces and nephews whom he adored.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents; his father- and mother-in-law, Melville and Ethel Johnston; and a sister-in-law, Lois Johnston.
The family would like to thank Dr. Robert Multari and staff; Dr. William Spielvogle and staff and nurses Carol, Erin and Stacey; Dr. Herbert Zeh and staff; and Sharon Regional Hospice for their wonderful care.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Pancreatic Research at www.Lustgarten.org; or to a charity of the donor's choice.
