Vicki L. Goda, 66, of Brookfield, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on Saturday morning, May 30, 2026, following a brief battle with cancer.
Vicki was born May 4, 1960, in Sharon, the youngest daughter of the late Michael J. and Joan L. (Templeton) Polkovitch, and graduated from Sharon High School in 1978.
For many years, Vicki worked as an agent at Mehler Insurance, Sharpsville, and was previously employed by McDowell Bank, Sharon.
Vicki was of the Catholic faith.
An animal lover, she had an abundance of pets throughout her lifetime, all of whom she adored. Vicki also enjoyed tending to her flower garden, indoor plants, and fruit bushes. She had a gift for nurturing relationships in which she held dear, specifically those she shared with her nieces and nephews, as well as many treasured lifelong friends.
Vicki is survived by her fiancé, Kenneth Miller, with whom she made her home in Brookfield, OH; three sisters, Diane George, Hermitage, Darlene Hengenius (Robert), Rochester, NY, and Jean Donaldson (Mark), Sharpsville; three nieces, Nicole Todora (Bradley), Julie Hengenius, and Megan Donaldson (Alan); three nephews, Joseph Hengenius, Nathan George (Melissa), and Cody Donaldson (Leigh); a great-niece, Makenzie; and her beloved dog, Finn.
In addition to her parents, Vicki was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Barry George.
In lieu of flowers, Vicki requested that memorial donations be made to the Shenango Valley Animal Shelter, 2599 Broadway Road, Hermitage, PA 16148.
Friends and family will be received from 11 a.m. to noon on Saturday, June 13, 2026, in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 E. State St., Sharon.
A memorial service will immediately follow at noon, in the funeral home, with Rev. John Miller, officiating.
Interment: Riverside Cemetery, Sharpsville.
