Velma G. Malcomson of Hermitage passed away at 10:25 p.m. Monday, December 4, 2017, in Hospitality Care Center, Hermitage. She was 90.
Mrs. Malcomson was born September 3, 1927, in Sharon, a daughter of Michael and Anna (Fedorsack) Matsko. She was a lifelong Shenango Valley resident and at 1945 graduate of Sharon High School. Velma was employed at the
former Sharon Transformer Division of Westinghouse Electric Corp.
and later worked for Reyers Shoe Store, Sharon.
Velma was a longtime member of St. Joseph's Church, Sharon. She enjoyed playing cards and getting together with her classmates for lunch.
Surviving are: a daughter, Beth Ann Patton, Fort Worth, TX; a son, Robert Pandolfi and his wife Joyce, Woodstock, GA; two granddaughters, Melissa Nisbet and her husband Avery; and Emily Lona and her husband Bryan; four great grandchildren, Ivy Ellen and Laurel Margaret Nisbet; and Maxwell Enrique and Charlie Robert Lona; and a sister, Rita Clark, Green Bay, Wisc.
Velma was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Robert Pandolfi, in 1965; her second husband, Stewart Malcomson, in 1976; and nine siblings.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions be made to St. Joseph's Church, 79 Case Avenue, Sharon.
There are no calling hours.
A memorial mass will be
10:30 a.m.
