Valerie Lynn (Mansell) Offie, 58, of Sharpsville, passed away following a courageous ten-year battle with cancer, on Saturday, November 29, 2025, in her home.

Valerie was born on April 28, 1967, in Sharon, a daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Woodman) Mansell. She was a 1985 graduate of Sharon High School.

She was a longtime waitress at the Tara- A Country Inn, Clark, and spent the majority of her working career as a line haul dispatcher for various trucking businesses, most recently for PI&I Motor Express, Brookfield, OH.

Valerie was a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and NASCAR, especially Ryan Blaney. She also enjoyed watching cooking shows, the History channel, reading and going shopping.

She is survived by a daughter, Paige Offie; a son, James Offie, III, and his wife, Sierra, all of Hermitage; two brothers, Ron Mansell, of Sharon, and Charles Commons, of Canfield, OH; and a sister-in-law, Sherry Mansell, of Seattle, WA.

In addition to her parents, Valerie was preceded in death by a sister, Lanie Buger; and a brother, Monte Mansell.

The family suggests memorial contributions be directed to the Shenango Valley Animal Shelter, 2599 Broadway Rd., Hermitage, PA 16148.

Calling hours will be 5 to 7 p.m. Monday (12/08/2025) in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 East State St., Sharon.
