Obituary

Tyler Paul Zoccoli, 1137 Harry St., Sharon, passed away unexpectedly at 6:30 a.m. Saturday (9-29-12) at his residences. He was 19. Tyler was born January 26, 1993 in Sharon the son of Mark H. Zoccoli Sr. and Kim Reed Zoccoli. Tyler was a 2011 graduate of Sharon High School. Tyler began wrestling for the Sharon Tigers when he was six years old and he placed in several tournaments in 2007 thru 2008. He was a Pennsylvania Junior Wrestling State Qualifier for the Sharon Tigers. Tyler was employed at Goldstein's Furniture in downtown Sharon. He loved to race motocross and he placed several times at both Pymatuning Hole Shot Race Track, and the Big Game Raceway in Hubbard. He also loved to play baseball and was considered by his friends to be a standout shortstop and talented pitcher. He enjoyed golfing and listening to music especially Tom Petty, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan, and Nirvana. He also liked restoring old cars and going to the mountains with his cousin Michael. Tyler was a very likeable and loveable person who would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He most of all enjoyed being an uncle to his nephew Mark Zoccoli the III. He is survived by his parents, a sister Spring A. Zoccoli, all at home, a brother Mark Zoccoli Jr. and his fiancé Jessica Campbell, Sharon, his maternal grandmother, Shirley Goral, Hermitage, his aunt Linda Dill, Tulsa, OK, his uncle, Gary Zoccoli, Sharon, his two aunts, Jeaneen Campbell, Masury, and Charissa Reed, North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his paternal Grandparents, Esther and Natale Zoccoli, and his paternal grandfather, Paul Reed. Memorial contributions may be made to his family to help defray funeral cost. Calling hours: 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday (10-3-12) in the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. 1090 E. State St. Sharon.
