Toula K. Hardesty, 83, of Hermitage, passed away Monday, September 1, 2025, in her home.
Mrs. Hardesty was born November 11, 1941, in Warren, OH, a daughter of Peter and Stella (Kariotis) Leftheris, and graduated from Sharon High School in 1959.
For nearly 20 years, Toula owned and operated the Tow Bar Restaurant in Sharon.
Toula was a lifelong member of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, Farrell.
An avid card player, she also looked forward to meeting friends at Panera for a cup of coffee and spending time at the library reading.
Her husband, John "Jack" N. Hardesty, whom she married May 1, 1989, preceded her in death on February 17, 2009.
Toula is survived by two daughters, Olga Chapman, Covington, GA, and Stella Karidis, Sharon; a son, Stephen Karidis (Joye), of Pittsburgh, PA; two brothers, Nicholas Leftheris, Sharon, and Pete Leftheris, Jr., Leavittsburg, OH; a sister, Katherine "Katie" Mesogitis, Hermitage; four grandchildren, Alexander Jones (Polina) and Nadia Jones, and Zoe and Kristian Karidis; and two great-grandchildren, Olivia and Juliette.
In addition to her husband and parents, Toula was preceded in death by a brother, Harry Leftheris.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to noon on Saturday (9-6-25) in Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 1007 Washington St., Farrell. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.McGonigleFuneralHomeandCrematory.com.
A funeral service will immediately follow at noon, in the church, with Rev. Polykarp Peter Steve, officiating.
Interment: Oakwood Cemetery, Hermitage.
