Tonya VanOrd, 52, of Sharon, passed away Tuesday evening, January 23, 2024, in Sharon Regional Medical Center.

Tonya was born on November 27, 1971, in Sharon, a daughter of Edward and Patti (Noga) Brenner. She was a 1990 graduate of Brookfield High School and attended Penn State Shenango Valley Campus.

A homemaker, she fiercely loved her family and always put them first. She looked forward to family gatherings and cherished time spent with her grandchildren.

Additionally, Tonya participated in the PNA Bowling League at Thorton Hall for more than 20 years.

Her husband, William David VanOrd, whom she married on October 10, 2006, passed away on July 7, 2018.

She is survived by three children, Amanda Hansen and her husband Tyler, Hermitage, and Sage and Brennen VanOrd, both of Sharon; her parents, Ed and Patti Brenner, Brookfield, OH; a sister, Tammie Blazer and her husband John, Hermitage; three grandchildren, AvaLee Titus, Aliyah VanOrd and Cooper Hansen; a niece, Sarah Lavoie, Cranston, RI; and a special friend, Robert Rainey.

In addition to her husband, Tonya was preceded in death by her aunt and uncle and Godparents, John and Marge Noga; and a niece, Mary Jess Lavoie.
