Tina M. Sanson of Sharon passed away at 8:12 a.m. Tuesday, April 4, 2017, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was 56.

Mrs. Sanson was born September 8, 1960, in Sharon, a daughter of Joseph Pacifico Sr. and Shirley (Davidson) Pacifico. Tina was a 1978 graduate of Sharon High School and worked more than 25 years for Kraynaks, Hermitage.

Tina was a member of St. Joseph Church, Sharon.  She bowled in the Tuesday morning JYNX league at the former Hickory Bowl, Hermitage. Tina was a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates and enjoyed camping, being a "band mom", baking and getting the family together on Sundays for spaghetti. A gardener, she always had her home decorated with flowers.

Surviving are: her mother, Hermitage; her husband, Stephen Sanson, whom she married on June 15, 1996; a daughter, Amy Zolnier and her husband Stephen; two sons, Brad Carroll and his wife Angie; and Sean Carroll and his wife Raquel, all of Sharon; three grandchildren, Bryce and Seth Carroll; and Penelope Zolnier; a brother, Joseph Pacifico Jr. and his wife Gloria, West Middlesex; a niece, Chelsea Pacifico and her son Aiden; and a nephew, Joseph Pacifico III and his wife Amanda.

She was preceded in death by her father.

The family suggest memorial contributions be made to National Ovarian Cancer Coalition, 6507 Wilkins Ave., #100, Pittsburgh, PA 15217.

Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 7, 2017, in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 East State St., Sharon.

Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Saturday, April 8, 2017 , in St. Jospeh Church, 79 Case Ave., Sharon, with Rev. Thomas Whitman, pastor, as celebrant.

Interment: Oakwood Cemetery, Hermitage.
