Timothy Wayne O'Brien, 325 Patt Dr., Farrell, PA; formerly of Spencer Rd., Hermitage, PA, passed away Sunday afternoon in Beaver County from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was 50.
Mr. O'Brien was born October 27, 1959 in Williamsport, PA a son of Jack and Nancy Ann Dettling O'Brien.
He attended West Middlesex High School until his senior year and graduated from the former Evangel Christian Academy, Sharon.
Tim was an independent truck driver for many years.
He was a member and Elder at the Christian Fellowship Church, Hermitage. Tim was an avid motorcyclist and a member of the Ohio Rider's Club and the Sport Bike Alliance of Pittsburgh. He served with the US Coast Guard for six years and was honorably discharged in 1988.
Surviving are: his wife, the former Janet Deemer, whom he married June 13, 1981; a daughter, Melissa O'Brien, Ridgway, PA; a son, Michael O'Brien, at home; his father and step-mother, Jack and Yvonne O'Brien, Hermitage; a grandson, Michael Streich, Ridgway, PA; a sister, Beth Watson and her husband Bill, Shenango Township; and two brothers, Jeffrey O'Brien and his wife Laurie, Sterling, Virginia; and Steve O'Brien and his wife Bonnie, S. Pymatuning Township.
Tim was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Ann O'Brien on December 19, 1997. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
