Timothy R. Hartman of 3752 N. Hermitage Rd. Lot 8, Transfer, PA. passed away at 10:26 p.m. Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at his residence following a one year battle with cancer. He was 50.
Mr. Hartman was born in Rochester, PA on November 15, 1959, a son of Ralph and Gloria Ordean Hartman.
Tim was self employed in construction until his illness. He was previously employed as a core maker at Cooper Cameron until they closed in 2000.
He loved to design and remodel homes. Tim also enjoyed Karaoke, dancing, and spending time with his Bassett Hound, Captain and his friends. He loved life to the fullest extent. Tim will be greatly missed by his friends and family.
Survivors include: 3 sisters, Sandy McFadden of Parker, PA and her fiancé Chuck Walters of Butler who where Tim's care givers this past year, a sister Sherry and her husband Donald Lovaglio of Mercer, PA, and Betsy and her husband Marvin Hillard of Parker, PA; a twin brother, Bruce Hartman of Houston, TX; a step brother, Joe Davis of Mercer, PA; his former wife Luann Hartman of Oil City; 2 step children, Dana and Braydon Trowbridge of Oil City, PA; 2 step grandsons.
Besides his parents, Tim was preceded in death by his step father, Roy Davis; 2 nieces, Tammy and Lucia Lovaglio; a great niece Stephanie Hillard.
Keeping with Tim's wishes, there will be no calling hours.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 9, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. at Charlie B's Restaurant inside the Comfort Inn, 835 Perry Highway Mercer, PA.
