Thomas Blaine Stonebraker, 17431 East Rd., Umatilla, FL, formerly of West Middlesex passed away at 3:05 a.m., Friday, June 26, 2009 in the Hospital of the Sharon Regional Health System. He had fallen ill while in town visiting family. He was 64.
Mr. Stonebraker was born November 10, 1944 in Sharon, the son of Paul James and Anna Alice Orr Stonebraker. He was a 1963 graduate of West Middlesex High School.
Prior to moving to Florida, he worked for several years at Greenville Steel Car, Greenville. While in Florida he worked in the real estate industry.
He was a member of The Lake Church, Eustis, Florida.
For many years he enjoyed coaching Little League baseball and midget football. He was a member and President of the high school football booster club where his children attended school in Florida. He is a member of the American Legion, the Disabled American Veterans, the Veteran's of Foreign Wars, all Florida and the American Military Retirees Association.
Tom served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and retired from the Navy after being injured in a military accident.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Marzano, whom he married May 4, 1966; a daughter Dianne 'Dee Dee' L. Stonebraker, Umatilla; two sons, Thomas B. Stonebraker and his wife Ryan, Eustis, Fl and Brian M. Stonebraker and his wife Tara, Umatilla; seven sisters, Norma Snyderwine and her husband, Robert, Sharon, May Jones and her husband Robert, New Wilmington, Fern Layton, Volant, Shirley McConnell and her husband Sylvester 'Bud', Hermitage, Bernice Ester Turney and her husband Edward, Tampa, Fl, Carolyn Barbour and her husband Dale, Volant and Phyllis Jones, Girard, OH; three brothers, William Stonebraker and his wife Dorothy, West Middlesex, Ralph Stonebraker and his wife Avis, Sharon and Harold Stonebraker, Guy Mills, PA; five grandchildren, Dustin, Brady, Jessica, Dylan and Brooklyn Stonebraker; four step-grandchildren, Joshua Johnson, Alex Dupuis and Jaycey and Wyatt Matt.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Marie Anderson and a brother James Stonebraker.
