Thomas A. Siege of Greenville passed away at 1:14 p.m. Monday, August 21, 2017, in the emergency room of UPMC Greenville hospital from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. He was 62.
Mr. Siege was born March 9, 1955, in Sharon, a son of P. Thomas and Arlene (Demaria) Siege. Upon graduating from Sharpsville High School in 1973, Tom began working at the Sharon Tube Co., Farrell. He continued to work at the plant for the next 32 years, retiring in 2005.
Tom was a 32 nd degree Free and Accepted Mason and a member of Sharpsville Masonic Lodge, #517, Transfer; and a former member of the Sharpsville Boosters. Tom was also a former member of the Mercer County Shrine Club, Hermitage, where he participated in the Clown Unit, often taking trips to Shriner's Hospital, Erie, PA.
An outdoorsman, Tom enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He was of the Methodist faith.
Surviving are: a daughter, Carly Siege, Pittsburgh, a son, Thomas A. Siege, II; his mother, Arlene Siege; and former spouse, Lisa Siege, all Sharpsville; three brothers, Timothy (Merilee) Siege and David Siege, all Greenville; and Brian (Tina) Siege, Canonsburg, PA.
Tom was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Siege; and a brother, Donald Siege.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to First United Methodist Church of Sharpsville, 148 E. Shenango St., Sharpsville, PA 16150.
Calling hours will be 1 p.m. until the time of service Friday ( 8-25-17 ) in First United Methodist Church of Sharpsville. .
Memorial service will be 3 p.m. Friday , in the church, with Rev. Joseph Yurko, pastor, officiating.
