Thomas P. Sever

Thomas P. Sever, 78, of West Middlesex, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2026, in his home.

Mr. Sever was born on December 19, 1947, in Sharon, a son of the late James and Elizabeth (Belcik) Sever. He attended the former St. Ann’s Parochial Grade School and was a 1966 graduate of Farrell High School. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Edinboro State College and received his master’s degree from Westminster College, New Wilmington.

Tom spent his career at Farrell School District, where he was a teacher and later worked as an administrator.

He was a member of the New Deal Club, Farrell, where he played bocce. He was also a member of the Croatian Fraternal Union.

He is survived by a brother, Michael Sever (Malinda); and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by four brothers: James M., Ronald M., David R., and his fraternal twin, Harry W. Sever.

The family would like to especially thank Helen Matusick for her care of Tom during his recent illness.
