Thomas Paul Fratilla of Hubbard, Ohio and formerly of Wheatland passed away at
7:10 a.m.
Tuesday, June 28, 2016, in Hospice House, Poland, Ohio, after an extended illness. He was 57.
Tom was born June 30, 1958, in Sharon, a son of August Fratilla, Jr. and Dolores (Hittle) Fratilla.
He attended Wheatland Elementary School and was a 1976 graduate of Farrell High School.
Tom retired as a crane man from Wheatland Tube and previously worked for Shenango, Inc., Sharpsville, and Valley Mold, Masury, Ohio.
He was a former member of St. Joseph Church, Sharon; and a member of the Wheatland American Legion.
An avid fan of the San Francisco 49ers, Tom also loved baseball and was a player, coach and umpire in Wheatland Little League.
Surviving are: his lifelong companion and former wife, Janet Czerr, Hubbard; a son, Thomas R. Fratilla, Sharon; two sisters, Cathy Fratilla; and Paula Jennings and her husband Alphonso and their daughter Miracle; and a brother, Jeffrey Fratilla and his companion Lilith Paul, all Sharon; and a former sister-in-law, Rosemary Prezioso and her husband Gene and their family, Sharpsville.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Laura Ellen Fratilla.

At Tom's request, there are no calling hours.
Private Funeral Mass will be held in St. Mary's Cemetery chapel, Hermitge, with Rev. Thomas Whitman, pastor of St. Joseph Church, Sharon, as celebrant.
Interment: St. Mary's Cemetery.
