Mr. Forgacs was born on April 21, 1943, in Ravenna, OH, a son of the late William and Claire (Nodine) Forgacs. He was a 1962 graduate of Ravenna High School and enlisted in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany.

Upon his honorable discharge, Tom began working in local mills and was a lieutenant in security for Wells Fargo.
