Thomas Scott Bridge, 54, a longtime resident of Hermitage, passed peacefully into the arms of his Lord and Savior late Wednesday night, May 6, 2026, following a courageous battle with ALS.
Mr. Bridge was born on July 15, 1971, in Sharon, a son of the late Kenneth R. and Mary Ann (Bukovinsky) Bridge. He was a 1989 graduate of Hickory High School in Hermitage, and also graduated from Youngstown State University, first with an associate's in computer technology, later completing a bachelor’s in computer science. He also completed a computer building program at Midlands Technical Institute in South Carolina.
Prior to his diagnosis, Tom was employed as a Network Architect at his alma mater, Youngstown State University. He previously worked in the IT department at Sharon Regional Hospital.
Tom was a member of the Church of Notre Dame in Hermitage.
An avid golfer and chess player, he always looked forward to watching football - especially his favorite team, the Minnesota Vikings, and enjoyed riding motorcycles in the summer months and snowmobiles during the winter.
Tom is survived by five children, Christian Bridge, Sharon, Beverly Bridge, Jamestown, PA, and Vanessa, Mason, and Maryann Bridge, and their mother, Kimberly Pickstone (Tom), all of Sharon; four siblings, Kenneth Bridge, Sharpsville, Patricia Chupak (Jerry) West Middlesex, Robert Bridge (Christina), Masury, OH, and Deborah Gilson (Doug), Mercer; four nieces; two nephews; and his dear cousin and caretaker, Raedine Bridge, of Sharpsville.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents.

Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Monday (5-11-26) in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 E. State St., Sharon.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. on Tuesday (5-12-26) in the Church of Notre Dame, 2325 Highland Rd., Hermitage, with Rev. John Miller, as celebrant.
Interment: St. Ann’s Cemetery, Hermitage.
