Obituary

Theresa "Terry" M. Bair, 86, of Hermitage, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2020, in her home, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Mrs. Bair was born June 17, 1934, in Pittsburgh, PA, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Laura T. (Stang) Short.

She attended school in Pittsburgh and Hickory High School.

A homemaker, she worked at the former Greenwood Pharmacy, Sharpsville for 24 years retiring in 1992 as the Store Manager.  She also worked for more than ten years at the S.S. Kresge Store in the former Hickory Plaza.

She was a member of the former Sacred Heart Church and upon it's closing joined St. Joseph's Church both in Sharon.

Her husband, David A. Bair, whom she married on November 23, 1950, died July 9, 2002.

She is survived by a son, Frank A. Bair and his wife Karen, of Hermitage; a daughter-in-law, Judith Bair Sabarese, of Conneaut Lake, PA; a sister, Gyla Miller, of Linesville, PA; a grandson, Justin M. Bair and his wife Lisa, of Gainesville, VA; two great grandchildren, Morgan and Paige Bair; a sister-in-law, Sue Short, of Florida; her life-long friend, Palma Glaser.  She was also a loving and caring aunt to many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, James K. Bair; her step-father, Frank Miller; a sister, Bernadine Faulkner and her husband Chuck; a brother, John L. Short; a brother-in-law, William Miller, a niece, Dory Miller; and a life-long friend, Jim Glaser.

The family suggests memorial contributions be directed to Sharon Regional Hospice, 1955 Shenango Valley Fwy., Hermitage, PA 16148.

All services are private.

Interment:  St. Mary's Cemetery, Hermitage, PA
