Obituary

Terry L. Ediburn of Sharpsville passed away peacefully at 9:35 p.m. Tuesday, December 5, 2017, in his residence following an extended illness. He was 70.

Mr. Ediburn was born February 7, 1947, in Sharon, a son of Albert Dale and Ila Mae (Bilger) Ediburn. He was raised in New Bedford, Pa., and graduated from New Wilmington High School in 1965.

Terry served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

Following his honorable discharge, he began an apprenticeship with the Plumbers and Steamfitters Union, Local #449. Terry was employed by the union for 38 years and worked in many shops and several steel mills throughout the valley over his many years of service, retiring in 2006.

He attended First Assembly of God Church, Hermitage.

Terry was an avid NASCAR fan, and also enjoyed attending the local races to support his favorite drivers at both Sharon Speedway and Mercer Speedway. He also loved watching football and was a longtime Cleveland Browns fan.

Surviving are: his wife of more than 48 years, the former Diana Phillips, whom he married August 2, 1969; two daughters, Amber L. Grenier and her husband B.J. Grenier, Jr., Hermitage; and Tiffany L. Lary and her husband Nick, Sharon; a son, Eric R. Ediburn and his wife Korena, Hermitage; a sister, Daleen Nelson, New Bedford; a brother, John Bunnell, New Wilmington; 6 grandchildren, Ciara Bayus and Connor Grenier; Treston and Braedyn Ediburn; and Destany Lary and Nicholas Lary, Jr.; and a great granddaughter, Mila Bayus.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents.

There will be no calling hours.

In keeping with Terry's wishes, a private memorial service will be held by the family.
