Terri M. Ellis McKinley of West Middlesex passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 17, 2018, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was 59.

Terri was born August 4, 1959, in Sharon, a daughter of John W. "Bill" and Mary (Hannahan) Ellis. She was a 1979 graduate of Farrell High School and later earned her associate's degree in business administration from the former Sharon Business School.

Terri was employed as an administrative manager at Crossroads, Inc., Farrell.

She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Hubbard, OH.

In the summer months, Terri enjoyed vacationing at the beach. She devoted much of her time and all of her love to family, particularly her grandchildren who brought so much joy in recent years.

She is survived by: two sons, James M. (Danielle Petrozelle) Griffin, Hubbard, and Jason R. (Melinda) Griffin, Hermitage; longtime companion, Chris Kohlmetz, West Middlesex; two sisters, Bridget Walker, Masury, and Lori Cataldi, Farrell; a brother, Taggart (Bernie) Ellis, Pittburgh; three grandchildren, Callie, Ronan and Geno Griffin; and several nieces and nephews.

Terri was preceded in death by her parents.

Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Monday (8-20-18) in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 E. State St., Sharon.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 1 p.m. Tuesday (8-21-18) in St. Patrick Church, 225 N Main St, Hubbard, OH, with Rev. Michael Swierz, pastor, as celebrant. Everyone is asked to please go directly to the church.

Interment: St. Mary Cemetery, Hermitage.
