Teri L. Hosa, 53, of Sharpsville, passed away with her husband at her side Thursday evening, February 12, 2026, following a courageous eight-year battle with breast cancer.

Mrs. Hosa was born on September 16, 1972, in Greenville, a daughter of Robert J. “Bob” and Kathryn E. (Flynn) O’Neill. A standout volleyball player in both high school and college, she graduated from Sharon High School in 1991 and earned a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Penn State University in 1995.

Throughout her 30-year nursing career, Teri worked in various capacities as an RN throughout the Shenango Valley.

Teri was a member of Truth and Grace Fellowship Church, Hermitage, and formerly a member of Sharpsville Baptist Church.

A woman of deep faith, she devoted her life to caring for husband, children, and family. Teri had a unique gift to focus on the concerns of others fair before her own.

Her husband of 28 years, Christopher B. Hosa, whom she married on October 18, 1997, survives at home.

Teri is also survived by two sons, Christian A. Hosa, of Sharon, and Michael R. Hosa, of Sharpsville; her mother, Kathy O’Neill, of Sharon; a brother, Robert O’Neill (Pamela), of Sharon; three nieces and a great-niece; and her lifelong friend, Raedine Bridge.

Teri was preceded in death by her father.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday (2-18-26) in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 E. State St., Sharon. 

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday (2-19-26), in the funeral home, with Rev. Aaron Christy and Rev. Wayne Sutton, co-officiating.

Interment: Morefield Cemetery, Hermitage.
