Tammie L. Wheaton Hogue, Hermitage, passed away unexpectedly at 6:45 a.m. Wednesday (1-6-16) at her residence of natural causes. She was 54.

She was born in Sharon on March 10, 1961 the daughter of Harvey R. and Geraldine Haines Wheaton.

A lifelong area resident, Tammie graduated from Hickory High School.

She worked as a cashier for the Hermitage Walmart.

She was survived by her four sons, Dale (Valerie) Langley, San Marcos, TX, Thomas Metz, Sharon, and DeuWayne Metz and John Hogue, Hermitage, two sisters, Brenda Bostaph, Farrell, and Debra Tucker, Hubbard, Ohio, two brothers, Harvey Wheaton, Fredonia, and Richard Wheaton, Kingston, TN. She is also survived by six grandchildren Cory, Alexis, Alex, Josiah, Nevan, and Adalina.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Patrick and Paul Wheaton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her family.
