Susan C. Miller, 84, of Transfer, PA, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her husband, sons, and daughters-in-law on Monday afternoon, October 21, 2024, following a brief illness.

Mrs. Miller was born February 23, 1940, in Sharon, a daughter of Martin and Margaret (Brown) Cusick. A 1958 graduate of Sharpsville High School, she attended business courses at Mercyhurst College, Erie, PA, and Youngstown State College.

For 56 years, Susan worked alongside her husband, and later her sons, as the secretary of Hickory Plumbing and Heating, Inc.
Susan was a member of the Church of Notre Dame, Hermitage, and was previously a member of St. Michael's Church, Greenville, PA.
She was an avid traveler and loved exploring the world with her husband, Bob. Susan also enjoyed gardening and landscaping at her home and their business.

Her greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, especially cheering them on at sporting events and activities.

Her beloved husband of 62 years, Robert L. Miller, whom she married November 24, 1962, survives at home.
Susan is also survived by four sons, Robert J. Miller (Jamie), Transfer, Martin E. Miller (Vicki), Transfer, Edward M. Miller (Valerie), Greenville, and Glen A. Miller (Ashley), Transfer; nine grandchildren, Brett, Tyler, Megan, Jake, Kegan, Riley, Mason, Devin, and Dominic; and seven great-grandchildren, Logan, Laken, Abigail, Iva, Gavin, Knox, and Callahan.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Prince of Peace Center, 502 Darr Ave., Farrell, PA 16121.

Interment: St. Michael Cemetery, Greenville, PA.
