Susan (Bordy) Cornman, 71, of Sharon, passed away at 7:45 a.m. Saturday, December 1, 2018, in Sharon Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Cornman was born March 18, 1947, in Sharon, a daughter of Charles and Velma (Chomor) Bordy. A lifelong area resident, she graduated from Sharon High School in 1965.

Susan was a member of the former Bethlehem Presbyterian Church, Sharon. She was employed as an assistant manager at Rite Aid, Sharon; the medical billing department at Hermitage Pediatrics and retired from Primary Health Network, in Sharon.

Susan loved taking photos and making albums filled with her family and friends.  She cherished the time spent with her family, especially her granddaughter, Jessica. Jessica loved her grandmother's smile and watching "Dirty Dancing" together.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Cornman, Sr., whom she married on October 1, 1966; two sons, Thomas Cornman, Jr., of Columbus, OH; and Michael Cornman and his wife Elizabeth, of Chicago, IL; a granddaughter, Jessica Husband and her husband Russell; two sisters, Nancy Odem, Washington, D.C.; and Marilyn Phibbs and her husband Dennis, of Farrell; and a brother, Charles Bordy, of Lancaster, PA.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Tempa Uhlrich, and a brother, Carl Bordy.

Calling hours will be 11 a.m. until the time of the service Tuesday (12/4/2018) in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 East State St., Sharon.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, in the funeral home with Rev. C. Charles Eckles, pastor of I.H.S. Gospel Ministries, Hermitage, officiating.

Interment: Oakwood Cemetery, Hermitage.
