Susan (Rust) Austin of Sharon passed away unexpectedly Thursday evening (11-10-16) in her residence. She was 54.

Mrs. Austin was born April 25, 1962, in Sharon, a daughter of Wayne, Sr. and JoAnn Powell Rust.

A lifelong area resident, Susan attended Hickory High School.

A homemaker, she was very active in her children's life attending all of their school functions, concerts and sporting events.

Susan was a member of Second Baptist Church, Sharpsville. S

he enjoyed botany and always had plants growing in her home.

Her greatest joy was her children and grandchildren, and she cherished the time she spent with them.

Surviving are: her husband, Tracy Austin, whom she married December 2, 2000; two daughters, Jenna Dunlap and her husband Jeremy, Hermitage; and Sara Austin, Fla.; four sons, Edwin Luchey, Jr., Dustin Austin, Jason Austin and Maceo Austin, all Sharon; her parents, Wayne Sr. and JoAnn Rust, Hermitage; two brothers, Wayne Rust, Jr., Sharpsville; and Richard Rust, Brookfield; and two grandchildren, Jermaine and Jeniyah Dunlap.

Susan was preceded in death by her daughter, Charlotte Marie Austin.

Calling hours will be from 1 p.m. until the time of service Wednesday (11-16-16) in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 E. State St., Sharon.

Memorial service will be 3 p.m., in the funeral home with Rev. James McKeithan, pastor of Second Baptist Church, Sharpsville, officiating.
