Stewart H. Glatfelter, Cortland, Ohio, formerly of Hermitage, passed away unexpectedly at his residence of natural causes Tuesday evening (8-25-15). He was 56. Stewart was born March 3, 1959 in Farmington, MI, the son of David E. and Leala M. Fraser Glatfelter. He was a graduate of Farmington High School where he was a standout in track and field and received an athletic scholarship to attend Saginaw Valley State University in University Center, MI. Stewart was a sales manager for Voestalpine Rotec Inc., Lafayette, IN. Stewart formerly attended Church of Notre Dame, Hermitage, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed fishing and Golfing in his spare time. He is survived by his wife the former Kimberly Hoppe, Hermitage, Pa., his two daughters, Elysia Abraham and her husband Dennis, Wyandotte, MI, Chelsey Glatfelter, Plum area of Pittsburgh, one son, Erik Matusky, Livonia, MI, his parents, David and Leala Glatfelter, Mesa, AZ, two sisters, Lori Tyler and her husband Robert, Mesa AZ, Diane Henry and her husband Rick, Memphis, TN, and several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal Grandparents.
