Stephen M. Harkulich of Hermitage passed away at 5:07 a.m. Thursday, December 8, 2016, in St. John XXIII Home, Hermitage. He was 58.
Steve was born July 26, 1958, in Sharon, a son of John and Elsie (Roberts) Harkulich.
He was a 1976 graduate of Sharon High School.
Steve was employed at Sharon Steel's former Farrell plant for ten years and later worked for Penn DOT for ten years.
He enjoyed bowling, music and basketball and served as an assistant baseball coach in Hickory Little League for his son's team. He was also a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Surviving are: his parents, John "Jack" and Elsie Harkulich, Hermitage; two daughters, Leah B. Harkulich, Wilmington, NC; and Lauren N. Harkulich, Columbia, SC; a son, Jeremy Stephen Harkulich, Charlotte, NC; his former wife, the former Susan Scanlon, also Charlotte, NC; a sister, Linda Skarica and her husband Michael and their children Matthew and Marco, West Middlesex; and a brother, Darren Harkulich and his wife Lori and their children, Joshua and Colin, FL.

Private calling hour for family will be from 6 pm until the time of service on Sunday, December 11, 2016, in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 E. State St., Sharon.
Private funeral service for family will be 7 pm Sunday in the funeral home with Rev. David Carter, parochial vicar of St. Joseph Church, Sharon, officiating.
