Sophie Marie Mack, 83, of Farrell, passed away Monday morning, February 10, 2025, in Hermitage Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Mrs. Mack was born September 28, 1941, in Bentleyville, PA, a daughter of the late Michael and Ann (Kuharik) Kline and graduated from Farrell High School in 1959.

She married the love of her life, Donald J. Mack on April 24, 1965, and they enjoyed almost 60 wonderful years together. He survives at home.

A born-again Christian, Sophie's faith was very important to her.

Sophie enjoyed her work as a surgical technician at UPMC Horizon Hospital, retiring in 2005.

Sophie liked crocheting, knitting, shopping, and working on puzzles.  She was also an excellent cook and baker.  Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandson.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Lisa Marie Jennings; a son, Thomas Mack (Debby), of Hermitage; two grandchildren, Ashley Sherick (Tony), and Ryan Michael Mack; a granddaughter-in-law, Mallory Jennings; and one great-grandson, Leo Alexander Jennings.

In addition to her parents, Sophie was preceded in death by her son, Michael Eric Mack; a sister, Barbara Ann Kline; two brothers, Michael Stephen Kline and Stephen Michael Kline; and a grandson, Shane Michael Jennings.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no calling hours or service.
