Sonny James Wheaton, 27, of Sharon, passed away Monday morning, November 5, 2018, in his home.

Sonny was born August 19, 1991, in Farrell, a son of Paul, Sr. and Robin (Scott) Wheaton and attended West Middlesex High School.

He was employed the last five years at Burger King, Hermitage and served as the assistant manager. Sonny enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his fiancé, Stephanie Richards; a daughter, Bailey Wheaton; a step-daughter, Ayla Wilkerson; two sisters, Kristia Wheaton, of Sharon; and Devin Slanina, of Girard, OH; and three brothers, Paul Wheaton, Jr. and his wife Bethann, of Poland, OH; and Scott and Wesley Wheaton, both of Sharon.

A memorial service will be 5 p.m. Friday (11/09/2018) in First Baptist Church, 301 West State St., Sharon.
