Shirley M. Hollobaugh of Transfer, formerly of South Pymatuning Twp., passed away at 9:33 a.m. Monday, November 20, 2017, in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System. She was 80.

Mrs. Hollobaugh was born November 3, 1937, in Hillville, Pa, a daughter of Lloyd R. and Lydia (Reddick) Wetzel. She graduated from Union High School, Rimersburg, Pa. Shirley was employed as a nurse's aide at St. Paul's; the former White Cliff, both in Greenville; as a private home health aide; and retired from UPMC Home Healthcare.

Shirley was a member of the Evangelical Church of God, Transfer. She enjoyed camping, playing cards, and singing and listening to country music.

Her husband, Blair C. Hollobaugh, whom she married on January 18, 1956 in Maryland, died October 9, 2008.

Surviving is: two sons, John L. Hollobaugh and his wife Cheryl, Greenville; and Gerald L. Hollobaugh and his wife Melissa, Hermitage; five grandchildren, Jonathan, Justin, Michelle, Jeremy and Kevin Hollobaugh; a great granddaughter, Briannah; a sister-in-law, Nancy Wetzel, New Cumberland, Wv; and a step-sister, Henrietta Peters and her husband John, Rimersburg, Pa.

In addition to her husband, Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Randall Hollobaugh; a grandson, Danny Pifer; her step-mother, Kate (Heeter) Wetzel; a brother, Gerald Wetzel; and two step brothers, Daryl and Merle Heeter.

The family suggest memorial contributions be made to Evangelical Church of God, 1013 Rutledge Rd., Transfer, Pa 16154 .

Calling hour will be 10 a.m. until the time of the service Friday ( 11/24/2017 ) in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 East State St., Sharon .

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday , in the funeral home, with Rev. C. Charles Eckles, pastor of IHS Gospel Ministris, Hermitage, officiating.

Burial: Transfer Cemetery.
