Sherrie Larousse

Sherrie Ann Larousse, 66, of Hermitage, passed away Sunday, December 28, 2025, in her home.

Mrs. Larousse was born on November 29, 1959, in Tylertown, MS. She was the daughter of the late John L and Sara Stringer.

Sherrie worked as a caretaker and a cook for many years.

She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed reading the Bible daily.

Sherrie looked forward to watching her daytime TV shows, especially Let's Make a Deal, and playing Bingo.

Surviving are two daughters, Tosha Larousse, Farrell, and Shannon Larousse; a son, Todd Larousse, both of Gretna, LA; a sister, Penny Stringer, Hattiesburg, MS; 8 grandchildren, Nate, Kelsey, and Sedgie Slocum, Donnie and Jourdan Poole, and Dallas, Dawson, and Devin Larousse; she also leaves behind two great grandchildren, Lyniah and Caillou Slocum.

In addition to her parents, Sherrie was preceded in death by a son, Kenny Larousse; a brother, Greg Stringer; and two sisters, Cindy Bedwell and Marshie Ferguson.
