Shelley Jackson, 68, of Hermitage, passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2025, in Shepherd of the Valley, Girard, OH.

Ms. Jackson was born on April 16, 1957, in Sharon, the daughter of the late John and Darlee (May) Jackson. She was a 1975 graduate of Sharon High School and earned an associate degree in secretarial science and legal services from the former Bohecker's Business College in Ravenna, OH.

Shelley worked as an administrative assistant at various locations, most notably for Fast Track Files, Hermitage. Most recently, she was employed by the Gravevine Center, Mercer County Consumer/Family Satisfaction Team in Sharpsville.

Shelley was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church, Sharon.

She enjoyed reading, watching classic movies, listening to music and visiting with her family and conversing with friends on the telephone.

Shelley cherished local landmarks, especially driving through Buhl Park and visiting the Shenango River Dam.

She is survived by two brothers, Jeff (Laura) Jackson, of Hermitage, and Greg (Karyn) Jackson, of Ventura, CA; and four nieces and nephews, Jeffrey, Thomas, Sarah and Gaby; two Aunts, Beth and Kathy and many cousins.

In addition to her parents, Shelley was preceded in death by her fiancé, William "Bill" Cromer.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday (08/12/2025) in St. John's Episcopal Church, 226 W. State St., Sharon.

Interment: Oakwood Cemetery, Hermitage.
