Funeral service will be Wednesday for Sharon Lynn Williams of New Castle Avenue, Sharon. She passed away unexpectedly of natural causes at 6:37 p.m. Saturday (6-20-15) in the intensive care unit of Sharon Regional Health System. She was 67. She was born May 17, 1948, in Grove City, a daughter of Paul and Anna Ward Hughes. She was a 1967 graduate of Sharon High School. Sharon was an accomplished florist who worked for several local flower shops including Cottage Gardens in Hermitage; Gibbs Flower Shoppe in Farrell; and Avenue Floral Shop, which she eventually owned and operated in Sharon. Sharon was a member of I.H.S. Gospel Ministries, Hermitage. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and she loved her dogs. She is survived by her husband, Raymond E. Baker, at home; two sons, Dwayne Williams, Pittsburgh; and Cory P. Williams, at home; and her daughter, Brenda Baker Campbell and her husband Jeff, Sharon. Seven grandchildren, Makenzy, Tylor and Rhylie Williams; and Rose, Jeffrey, Andrew and Monica Campbell. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Jack Hughes. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Mercer County, 3005 E. State St., Hermitage, PA 16148.
