Sharon A. Harvey of Masury passed away peacefully Sunday morning, August 26, 2018, in Sharon Regional Medical Center. She was 69.

Mrs. Harvey was born December 13, 1948, in Sharon, a daughter of the late William and Ruth (Rowe) Larimer. She was a lifelong area resident and a 1968 graduate of Sharon High School.

A homemaker, Sharon dedicated her life to caring for her family and their home.

Sharon was a longtime active member of the Salvation Army, Sharon, where she taught the weekly bible study for many years.

She enjoyed taking camping trips to go fishing with her husband, Charles. Sharon cherished the time she spent with family, particularly her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Her husband of 41 years, Charles Harvey, whom she married May 18, 1968, passed away May 18, 2009.

Surviving are: Three sons, Todd (Martha) Harvey, Masury, and Jason Harvey and Kevin (Jennifer) Harvey, all of New Castle; four brothers, Eugene Larimer, Masury, and Randy, Rodney and Troy (Shirley) Larimer, all of Roanoke, VA; five grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Sharon was preceded in death by a sister, Penny Zamora.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to the family.

Calling hours will be 3 p.m. until the time of service Thursday (8-30-18) in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 E. State St., Sharon.

Funeral service will be 5 p.m. Thursday, in the funeral home, with Pastor Maria Bandzak, officiating.
