Sharon L. Ferry, 59, of Hermitage, passed away on Sunday afternoon, May 19, 2019, in her sister's home.

Ms. Ferry was born August 5, 1959, in Sharon, a daughter of the late Robert J. Spohn and Rosalie A. Curtis and attended Reynolds High School.

Sharon was employed as a certified nurse's assistant at Sharon Regional Medical Center and worked as a waitress at the former South Pymatuning Restaurant.

Sharon was a member of Oakland Avenue United Methodist Church, Sharon and attended Hour of Power Full Gospel Tabernacle, Farrell.

She was very active in the Sudden Infant Death (SIDS) foundation of Mercer County. Sharon also enjoyed spending time with her family and going to casinos and yard sales.

She married Steven D. Cresswell who passed away February 1, 2011.

She was engaged to Joseph A. Ayres who survives in Hermitage.

She is survived by two daughters, Caitlin L. Ferry, and Jennifer L. Cresswell, both of Sharon; her sister, Cheryl Moyer, of Sharon; seven grandchildren, Gage, Piper and Abigail Brucker, Caleb Gurrera, Andrew Osborne, Koycee Sedgwick, and Kaylee Sedwick Davis; two great grandchildren, Evra and Evan; a niece, Kristin Moyer; and Sharon's former husband, William Ferry, of Mercer.

In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by two sons, Steven Cresswell, II and Justin R. Ferry.
