Scott A. Horsman, Masury, passed away peacefully at his residence at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2010, following an extended illness. He was 48.
Mr. Horsman was born June 9, 1961, in Sharon, a son of Raymond N. and Ruth Richards Horsman. He attended Hermitage schools.
He was employed for 28 years with Maybrook-Rien Construction Co., Brookfield.
Scott enjoyed hunting and NASCAR.
His wife, Fonda K. Tarr, whom he married Sept. 23, 1989, survives at home. Also surviving is a son, Jonathan R. Horsman, at home; his mother, Ruth Horsman, Hermitage; two sisters, Susan J. Horsman, and Sandra J. Knight and her husband Leonard, all Hermitage; his mother-in-law, Carol Tarr; and his brother-in-law, Sean Tarr and his wife Candy. He also leaves several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and -nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Southern Care Hospice, 5401 Ashley Circle, Suite E, Austintown, OH 44515.

Services: A funeral service at 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Michael Byus of Hubbard Church of the Nazarene officiating.
