Sarah Jane Patterson, 46, of Hermitage, passed away Tuesday afternoon, December 24, 2024, following an accident in her residence.

Ms. Patterson was born February 21, 1978, in Sharpsville, a daughter of Andrew and Jane (Andrews) Rodondi. A 1996 graduate of Sharpsville High School, Sarah was a gifted athlete in softball and basketball. She also was a member of the National Honors Society and was voted to home coming court.

Sarah was of the Catholic faith.

She worked for many years as a server at Muscarella's, Sharpsville, and most recently at Eat'n Park, Hermitage.

Sarah was an animal lover, mostly cats, and was proud that her cat was chosen to be featured in an upcoming calendar. She enjoyed artwork and was a talented painter. After enduring trying times, Sarah greatly enjoyed her past 10 years and was able to create a relationship with God. Her smile and her love will be greatly missed by many.

She is survived by her son, Byron Patterson, Hermitage; parents, Jane (Andrews) and Andrew Rodondi, St. Augustine, FL; and four siblings, Larry Patterson, Jr., Joshua Rodondi (Becky), Gina Rodondi (Sarah), all of Hermitage, and Kelly McLaughlin (Chad), Cranberry Twp.

A celebration of Sarah's life will be held at a later date.
