Sandra Noreen Warchol

Sandra Noreen (Smith) Warchol, 85, of Greenville, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, in UPMC Horizon Hospital, Farrell.

Mrs. Warchol was born on September 28, 1940, in Washington, PA, a daughter of the late Paul and Melva (Klink) Smith and was a 1958 graduate of Union High School, Burgettstown, PA.

On April 13, 1963, she married the love of her life, David M. Warchol, Sr., who took exceptional loving care of her at home during her extended illness.

Sandra was a dedicated homemaker, caring for her husband, two children and three granddaughters.

Sandra was a member of the Gentle Shepherd Church of the Nazarene, Hermitage.

She is survived by her husband; a son, David M. (Geri) Warchol, Jr., of Hermitage; a daughter, Sheryl Warchol, of Greenville; and three granddaughters, Nicole, Jennifer and Cassandra Warchol, of Greenville. Also surviving is a sister-in-law, Dolly Smith, of Burgettstown; two brothers-in-law, Don (Kathy) Warchol, of Hermitage, and Gary (Betty) Warchol, of Florida; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her only brother, David P. Smith, Sr. and his son, David P. Smith, Jr.

Sandra will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

The family suggests memorial contributions be directed to the Gentle Shepherd Church of the Nazarene, 3480 Shenango Valley Fwy., Hermitage, PA 16148.

Calling hours will be 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday (05/09/2026) in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 East State St., Sharon. 

Funeral service will immediately follow at noon on Saturday, in the funeral home, with Rev. Brian Burke, officiating.

Interment: Morefield Cemetery, Hermitage.
